Spyglass Cottage is positioned just on the outskirts of the village, less than five minutes walk to the centre. Within the village, you can find the famous Picnic Fayre, Cley Smokehouse, two pubs, various Shops & Galleries, and Cley Windmill. You can comfortably walk out from the house onto the coastal path and explore Cley Marshes and Cley beach and continue from there to walk along to Blakeney in one direction and Salthouse in the other. There is the famous Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley Marshes Visitors Centre just outside the village, offering fabulous resources and experiences to help you enjoy the marshland and birdlife to its greatest potential. Cley is just four miles from the busy Georgian market town of Holt and easily accessible by car are the popular coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea and Sheringham. There is a real sense of community in the village and whilst it is an extremely popular holiday destination, it has a thriving resident community too.
