Luxury 2 bed cottage in an idyllic spot on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Suits 4+2children. Renovated to a high standard throughout. Great walks, cycling & Alton Towers on your doorstep, and the famous Yew Tree Inn at the end of the road. It is the ideal base for your relaxing break in the country. *Preferred dates not available or need more/less space? Please search for our other nearby property C17th Family House at Doveridge, Derbyshire which sleeps 1-12.
We live 30 minutes from the cottage but are available to remotely assist with any issues that arise.
Cauldon is a lovely hamlet/small village on the edge of the Peak National Park. Surrounded by stunning countryside and a vast array of activities. Alton Towers - 5 miles Manifold Way Cycle/WalkingTrail - 3 miles Ashbourne - Gateway to the Peak District - 8 miles Buxton - Jewel of the Peaks - 19 miles Village Shop (Waterhouses) - 1mile "World Famous" Yew Tree Inn 200metres London 145 miles Stoke on Trent 17 miles Derby 21 miles There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane. It would be wise to enquire at time of booking for routes and timetable as variations may apply. Search "Leek-Moorlands bus timetables". Local taxis are available. Train stations available at Uttoxeter, Blyth Bridge, Matlock, Buxton amongst others.
