Frogs Bottom is a self contained, privately accessed guest lodge at Staplestreet, Hernhill in the heart of East Kent. The loge is situated in our back secluded garden. Within easy walking distance Frogs Bottom offers; Three pubs, each different but having its own charm. The first a 'local' serving pub grub and well kept ales. The 2nd a 14th century inn with all the period features that you'd expect, it's a vibrant friendly space serving great food and wines. The 3rd an award winning gastro pub with lovely gardens. Booking for food in 2 & 3 is advisable. The historic Mount Ephraim with its stunning gardens is a short walk away. There are woodland and orchard walks directly from the lodge. Mountain biking trails as well. Faversham, a hidden gem of a traditional market town, Whitstable with is bustling centre, wine bars and its famous oysters & seafood & the city of Canterbury with it's magnificent cathedral & all its tourist & local attractions are all a short drive from Frogs Bottom.
