Centrally located just off Church Street which is a historic cobbled street. It’s a very short walk to shops, pubs, art galleries, restaurants and the famous steps to Whitby Abbey. Within easy reach is the beach and all other amenities. The cottage itself is over 200 Years old with many original features. Being south facing, the sunlight beautifully shines through the original sash windows at the front of the property, which have been lovingly restored. Our open plan kitchen / dining area includes all of the necessary amenities if you fancy cooking, and a separate pantry with a fridge, microwave and other appliances. The living room downstairs is perfect for enjoying evenings and rainy days. There is a comfortable 4 seater sofa, arm chair and plenty of cushions! There is also a 43inch TV and selection of board games. In this room is also a beautiful fireplace, with an electric fire providing all the atmosphere of a log burner, without the fuss. The modern and luxurious bathroom features a deep bath with rainfall shower. A de-misting mirror with shaver socket and light which creates mood lighting for a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a large heated towel rail, perfect for drying clothes after a day at the beach. Bedroom 1 has an original fireplace with a Super King size bed. This can also be separated into two single beds if required. Please let us know on booking if you would like twin beds. A chair and mirror also allow you to relax and get ready to enjoy the day, or an evening in Whitby. Bedroom 2 has a King Size bed with two Neoclassical arches either side Bedroom 3 is a small Single bedroom with full size adult single bed.
