    Lovely size.. comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, nice touch with the tea, coffee etc (I didn’t use any but nice to have if required) good outside space, great to have fire stick for Netflix etc all set up.

Garden flat, ideal for pet lovers and those looking for an affordable rural retreat. Situated at the end of a larger holiday cottage the flat has a private entrance, enclosed garden, parking for one car, large bedroom with a king-size bed and sofa bed, small single bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen & bathroom. Situated on the edge of Exmoor yet only 20 minutes off J27 of the M5, we're ideally situated for visiting Exmoor or travelling a little further to beaches and attractions of North Devon.
We're a family of 6, with children aged from 10 to teen. We're renovating a large former farmhouse in North Devon which should one day become the Blackerton Ecocentre. This is adjacent to our holiday cottage & garden flat. In the meantime, I run the School of Babywearing and travel within the UK and abroad to run courses in the use of slings & baby carriers to build nurturing relationships. We live next door to the cottage. We'll do our best to meet you if you request this though keys are available via a lockbox. You can contact us by phone/text/e-mail.
The village is situated just under 20 minutes off the M5 (junction 27) and we are a few minutes' drive from Exmoor and about 40 minutes from the nearest beach so very well situated for country getaways. The nearest shop is 5 miles (about 15 minutes' drive) away, open 6am - 11pm. There is a great tapas bar, Wild Woods Tapas Bar, about a mile down the road (open for advance bookings of 6 or more people) and several nearby local country pubs that we can recommend. The village itself is very quiet, there are just 15 houses here, and the village is accessed via a private driveway so it's self-contained. There is no public transport and you will need a car to get around. The Two Moors Way is just over a mile away and Exmoor is a five minute drive so there are plenty of opportunities for walking.
