Step back in time in this period cottage in a beautifully preserved Cotswolds village. Riverside Cottage is a classic stone village house in Lower Slaughter, one of the most sought after villages in the Cotswolds. Built in the 19th century, it has an unrivalled position in the heart of the village, being situated right by the river Eye and south facing. The village itself is unspoilt, being a conservation area and there has been little development in over 30 years.
Lower Slaughter is in a conservation area and has barely changed in the thirty years that we have had properties in this village. This has enabled it to preserve its immense charm.
