River View boasts a prime position on the banks of the River Yare close to the popular village of Brundall. Brundall is located in the heart of the broads just South East of Norwich city centre (accessible by car or Train!) and is an ideal base from which to enjoy your Norfolk Broads holiday. This charming riverside property is perfect for a family or couple. The property sleeps 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. There is a large decking area overlooking the river, ideal for sitting out and enjoying the views with steps down to the garden leading to the unfenced river. River View is in an excellent location, perfect for fishing at the end of the garden and watching the river activity. Jump on a train to Norwich for shopping, sightseeing and history or to Great Yarmouth for an ice-cream on the beach, there are also many more attractions close by.  Bedroom 1 - double Bedroom 2 - twin 1 bathroom with walk in shower Open plan lounge / diner and full kitchen with dishwasher. The variety of fish on the Broads include: pike, carp, eel, bream, roach, trench, perch and rudd. A fishing licence is required, this can be purchased online via the Environment Agency here. Fishing available during open season. Closed season is between 14th March - 16th June. Electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Hand and bath towels provided for number of guests staying. Also provided are tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibac, handwash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen & toilet roll. Cot and highchair by request free of charge. Dogs accepted - max 2. Fee of 30 gbp per pet applies.

River View is located in the village of Brundall and is a perfect location for a river based holiday, Brundall is the centre for boat building and boat hire, and which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Chinese takeaway, fish and chips shop, fine restaurant and local pubs all serving good food; one is just across the river, and one is within a short stroll. An ideal touring base, with Great Yarmouth easily accessible by car or train. The surrounding seaside towns and villages of Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Winterton, California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offering entertainment for a family holiday, as well as the pretty Broadland villages and countryside can be explored by car. RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, 3 miles. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches are 12 miles. Also accessible by train is the fine city of Norwich only 8 miles away, with its excellent shopping, theatre, restaurants, inns, cafés, castle and museums. Activities locally are boat hire, fishing, nature reserve & walks. The village is within walking distance with quaint pubs, restaurants, takeaways, supermarket and shops. For a much larger selection hop on the train into the beautiful city of Norwich or head to the beach in Great Yarmouth. Train station less than half a mile from the lodge. BeWilderwood and Pleasurewood Hills theme parks are not far away.
