As the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows, Pangbourne’s River Meadow is a must to enjoy everything the River Thames has to offer: from wild swimming to walks; kayaking to paddle boarding. For history lovers, Oxford is a fun day trip or, even closer to home, guests can visit glorious Basildon Park. There are a wide range of food options; from excellent restaurants, cafes and coffee shops through to delicatessens, bakery and butchers as well as the famous Pangbourne Cheese Shop. River Nook is less than five minutes walk from Pangbourne Station with direct links to Reading, Oxford and London Paddington. The flat is situated on a private road in Pangbourne and benefits from a dedicated parking space.
