A newly refurbished, thoroughly stylish and historically important building in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge Unesco World Heritage Site. Ideal for romantic getaways, business trips, family holidays and walking breaks. With a stylish and sociable kitchen, sumptuous and comfortable beds, luxury ensuite bathrooms, cosy sitting room with log burner and Netflix, and its own private courtyard - Penny Black Cottage will not disappoint even the most discerning traveller.

Ironbridge gorge and Coalbrookdale are a UNESCO world heritage site, recognising their history as the birthplace of industry. There are 10 award winning museums scattered around the local area, including the Museum of Iron, and Enginuity which are 300 yards from the cottage. Blists Hill Victorian Town offers a glimpse into the lives of the workers in days gone by. There are a wealth of welcoming pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and walks along the River severn and the wooded hillsides of the gorge. Telford, with its conference centre, shops, cinemas and restaurants is about 10 minutes drive. For the more adventurous, Shrewsbury, The Royal Airforce Museum Cosford, and hikes over the Wrekin, the long Mynd, and the Stiperstones are within easy reach by car
