Parc Y Bryn Lodge really is a perfect base to explore the area. Supermarkets- There is a Co-Op in Kidwelly which is approx a 6 minuted drive away. There are also plenty of larger supermarkets in Carmarthen. These include Tesco, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi and M&S. Approx 15 minute drive away. Places to eat and drink- There are a number of restaurants in Carmarthen, and a few in Kidwelly. There are also ferries which can take you from Ferryside to Llansteffan where there are a few great pubs to choose from. Parc Y Bocs farm shop and cafe in Kidwelly is a great place to visit with the kids. They have a farm shop, cafe and play area. Parc y Bocs is already dog friendly. Carmarthen town is 20 minutes away and is full of small local shops as well as high street retailers. Here you can also find a cinema and lots of restaurants. Outside of town, there is a popular soft play area called Sgiliau.
