We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay. Please note that we have a strict parking limit at the property - only 3 medium sized cars are able to park on the shared driveway. There is other paid parking available on the road next to the property.

Welcome to the superb Anchorage, located on the banks of the River Severn in the centre of the historic town of Shrewsbury. This lovely property is well-appointed, unique, and stylish, with its own gym and pool table area. Set over five floors offering spacious accommodation with fantastic views over the River Severn and Shrewsbury town, the perfect escape for you to relax with family and friends. After entering the property, stairs will lead you down into a spacious fully equipped kitchen / breakfast room with lots of storage for your food and drink and a large table and chairs. Walk through to the cosy snug with fire which leads out onto a large patio area with an outside dining area, overlooking the Kingsland Bridge and River Severn to enjoy those morning coffees. The snug leads to a separate dining area that will seat 10, using the kitchen chairs. The property benefits from two feature stoves (Gas) On the first floor is a large comfortable living area, again with views over the River and an office for those needed to work from home, while away from home. On the second floor, there are two double bedrooms, both with king-size beds. The spacious master bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower. There is also a second bedroom with king-size bed, both rooms have plenty of storage. There is also another shower room available on this floor. Anchorage is located within a 5-minute walk of the centre of the historic town of Shrewsbury with its quaint back streets, independent shops and a huge abundance of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes. A short walk along the river and across the lovely Kingsland Bridge, you will come to the Quarry Park, which is a beautiful 29-acre parkland providing the perfect place to relax, enjoy walks or have a picnic. At the heart of the Quarry lies The Dingle, a floral masterpiece cultivated by world-renowned gardener Percy Thrower. Shrewsbury has over 660 listed buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries. We are also close to Theatre Severn for comedy, music, drama, musicals and more.
