Saffron House is a 2-bedroom apartment within a 15-minute walk from the historic town centre with its Tudor timber-lined buildings, quaint back streets, independent shops and a huge abundance of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes, with Theatre Severn a short walk across the river. We are also on the doorstep of Shrewsbury Abbey. Saffron House is perfect for those looking for a home-from-home stay while visiting our beautiful town or working locally. The space The apartment is over two floors. On entering the apartment we have a small double bedroom, with a double bed, ample of wardrobe space and an ensuite shower room. You come upstairs into the kitchen, dining, and living area, The kitchen is fully equipped including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Off the lounge, we have a second double bedroom with a super king bed and bathroom with shower and bath. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a GBP40 non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Our home is located within a 15-minute walk of the historic town of Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury has over 660 listed buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries. In the town, we have the Quarry Park, which is a beautiful 29-acre parkland providing the perfect place to relax, enjoy walks, have a picnic or maybe an ice cream. At the heart of the Quarry lies the Dingle, a floral masterpiece cultivated by world-renowned gardener Percy Thrower. Across the Welsh bridge is the Theatre Severn. We have one allocated parking space outside the front door to the apartment and there is a visitors space on site also. Please display a parking permit in your car while staying. You will find these in the apartment.
