Owl Barn is in Sculthorpe which is just 2.6 miles from Fakenham town. There is a great pub called the Sculthorpe Mill which is in walking distance and the Aviator which is also in Sculthorpe. Fakenham racecourse is just over three miles away if you fancy a day at the races and you have Fakenham town itself with a range of shops, supermarkets, and activities. The traditional Georgian market town and tourism hotspot of Holt is just over 20 minutes’ drive away, here you will be able to enjoy a selection of cafes, cute antique shops, Delis, and bakeries that will keep you busy. If it is the North Norfolk coast you want to explore then you can get to Wells-Next-The-Sea in 15-20 minutes by car, Brancaster is only 14 miles away and for the classic seaside experience, Hunstanton offers arcades and entertainment and is just 17 miles away. Other attractions of note include Langham Glass, Pensthorpe Park in Fakenham and then a bit further afield Holkham Hall, Wells & Walsingham Light Railway, Sandringham Royal Park, Thursford Collection, numerous parks, nature reserves and beaches, plus Norwich itself is about 30 miles away.
