Some local attractions include Floors Castle which was built in 1721 for the Duke of Roxburgh. The Castle is still inhabited by the current Duke of Roxburgh and offers a spectacular Victorian Walled Garden and Millenium Garden with walks and cycle trails. The Castle hosts some excellent entertainment events throughout the year. The area is renowned for its salmon fishing on the River Tweed and for its Golf with seven golf courses located in the locality.
