What3words - wakes mouth echo Directions from Carlisle take the A595 to Workington, you will drive past kingrigg livery stables on the left, at the bottom of the hill indicate to turn right, the sign that says Annies Newby Cross we are the first house on the tarmac drive. Florin and I have been hosts for a few years in London and now in the North of England. We have enjoyed meeting people from all around the world. Florin speaks English, French, Hungarian and Romanian. We pride ourselves on a warm welcoming and friendly home. The house is 4.2 miles from Carlisle town centre. It is near Hadrian's Wall, Gretna Gateway and the Lake District. We have a garden and lots of parking spaces.
Florin and I have been hosting for a while in Cumbria, it is a great place to live. We enjoy walking in the Lake District, Art, Music languages and the great out doors.
We are in the country side, there are lots of walks near by. There is a Garden Centre (Dobbies) down the road. There is a bus service to Carlisle, Wigton, Dalston, Workington. We have beautiful sun sets (weather permitting) A large garden with fields over the way. Please see pictures.
