Mill Cottage is a delightful, 18th century cottage set in the small hamlet of Gayle, just half a mile from Hawes. With two first floor bedrooms, the property can sleep three people. There's also a second floor bathroom and a ground floor with kitchen, utility room and sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. Outside, there is a front courtyard with storage for bikes and outdoor equipment, and there's also off road parking for one cars. With lots of walking from the doorstep and attractions nearby, including the Wensleydale Creamery just a short stroll away, Mill Cottage is an excellent character base for small groups. Hawes is a popular market town in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire and is regarded as one of the honeypot tourist attractions of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Take a walk around the Hawes Town Trail, Millennium Walk, Pennine Way or along the River Ure, which is nearby. Traditional shops, cafés and inns now cater for a variety of Dales visitors as well as the local community.
