We have 3 modern barn conversions here that offer accommodation with self-catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. Milking Parlour is a contemporary and stylish barn with free parking . You are booking the whole house with 2 bedrooms. We are just ten minutes drive to the coast ideal for families. Milking Parlour is a quirky upside down barn. The large open plan inviting living/kitchen space is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, WIFI and a 40" Smart TV. Downstairs there are 2 small bedrooms. The Twin room has 2 x 2ft 6 single beds which are better for children or small adults. This room is tiny.The 2nd room has a standard UK double bed .Both rooms have a TV. A bathroom with a quality Myra shower. A 6ft fenced in private garden with all-weather artificial. It has a BBQ table. You will need to provide a disposable BBQ for this to sit on top. Also has garden furniture. We have a large maintained field with stunning views for families to enjoy right beside your property. Our guests tell us it is an excellent extra. We have our own spring water supply that is UV filtered to British Standards. EV CHARGER new for 2022 This is a smart EV project charger. You will need to download the app. You will need your own lead. All instructions are beside the charger. Bridget and Tom welcome you to Hendra Retreat. Our hobbies have been converting 3 barns. When we need a break we take our kayaks to Port Gavern and relax on the water. We also like to swim and body board at Trebarwith Strand then sit on the rocks with a picnic and a cider and watch the sunset. Most weekends we enjoy a live band at local venues.

The Port Willy pub is an ideal place for food with a fantastic view. Roughter - Bodmins most rugged tor is a 10-minute drive, once there you can walk to Brown Willy. Trebarwith strand, Bude, Polzeth and Crackington Haven are all patrolled by lifeguards in the peak season and are 10 -30 minutes drive. Historical village of Tintagel renowned for King Arthurs Castle. The Camel cycle trail from Bodmin to Padstow via Wadebridge. A great day out. You can hire bikes easily at Wadebridge and is a 15 minute drive away. st Nectars Glen an area of outstanding beauty and waterfalls is 10 minutes away. Bowood golf course is a 2-minute drive and does an excellent Sunday Carvery. Bossiney has a lovely coastal walk to Tintagel, Rocky valley and Boscastle. Port Isaac is 20 minutes away. This is where Doc Martin TV series was filmed. It offers lovely places to eat whether it is fish and chips or a Cornish cream tea and splendid sightseeing. Rock is 30 minutes by car. Rock offers water skiing and paddle boarding. Here you can catch the ferry to Padstow . Daymar bay is good for wind boarding, Kayaking. rock pooling and very safe for young children.
