The views of the surrounding area are simply stunning, and Castleton is also home to a variety of tourist attractions including four underground show caves and Peveril Castle, perched high on a cliff. It makes a great base for visiting surrounding attractions including Bakewell, Buxton, Chatsworth House and the National Trust’s Lyme Park all of which can be reached in around half an hour.
