Manar House is a magnificent Georgian Category B listed country house set in the heart of the Don Valley, Aberdeenshire. Nestled in 65 acres of beautiful grounds overlooking the River Don, the estate is made up of manicured lawns and parkland, agricultural land and ancient woodlands. The West Wing of the property consists of 3 luxury 5 star apartments, officially graded by Visit Scotland. This listing is for the ground floor apartment which very grand and spacious at 100m2.
We have been restoring Manar for around 4 years since we acquired the house and estate. We live in the main part of the house with our young family and 2 dogs. Following completion of all the critical works to save the fabric of the building we focused our attention on the West Wing. Now complete, we are very happy to welcome guests into this luxury accommodation.
The market town of Inverurie (4 miles) has a selection of shops, quality eateries, pubs and cafes. Aberdeenshire is known as 'Scotland's Castle Country', and aptly has many castles, stately mansions, and ruins to discover, including Castle Fraser, garden and estate (7 miles). Enjoy a trip to Aberdeen (19 miles), the Granite City, and become a culture vulture when you visit its array of excellent theatres, art galleries, music venues, museums and a science centre. Alternatively, take a tour of the local distilleries Glen Garioch and Glendronach, which are both within 21 miles.
