Lena Cottage is a beautiful historic holiday home in a tranquil, rural setting, with lots of outdoor space for the whole family to enjoy, two miles from the pretty market town of Tavistock, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Please be aware the property is close to a river that is not fenced off and children should be supervised at all times near the river. Dogs are welcome, and must be kept on a lead near livestock. Horses are on the premises and sheep graze the fields.
I love this stunning corner of rural England and really enjoy the outdoors, especially walking with my dogs. The history of where I live is fascinating. It is a real pleasure to welcome guests here!
Walking, cycling, horse riding, river swimming, golf, fishing and many more activities are on the doorstep! Tavistock is 2 miles away for stocking up on supplies, for city explorers Plymouth is 12 miles and Exeter 30 miles. Both the north and south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are in easy reach. Hiking on the moor is unbeatable.
