A rural country cottage getaway - The cottage is on the private grounds of farm built in the 1660s. The cottages were originally hay barns and have been lovingly converted into boutique, country styled holiday cottages. The cottages have retained a lot of their period features, but have also have a contemporary feel. We have 28 acres of private farmland and we are located just 6 miles from Alton Towers. Our Peak District cottages has many attractions locally, and is perfect for Hiking, dog walking, thrill seeking or just relaxing in peace and comfort. We have a private patio garden with a wood fired hot tub in Nook Cottage and a large kiln styled fireplace with a log burner in Brook Cottage. Both Cottages have their own free Wifi with a good signal, we provide widescreen smart TVs so you can connect to your own Netflix account
We have Polar Bears at the Peak Wildlife Park, which is a short walk from the cottage door. We are just 6 miles from Alton Towers and 16 miles from Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth House
