Beautiful old house. Easy parking around the house. The train station is only a few minutes' walk away. We loved being there and will come back next time.

Very spacious accommodation, lots of character and a convenient location. Different to anywhere we have ever stayed before. Also a great place to be at Halloween 👻 We would recommend the ship restaurant for a meal too.

The building itself was beautiful and inside was spacious while still feeling comfortable. Kinghorn Town Hall was perfectly suited for our family and we all sad to leave. My ten year old son particularly loved the spiral staircase.

Without doubt the finest building we have ever stayed in. It oozes history and grandeur but is cosy enough for a short break with the family. There was nothing we didn't like - comfy sofas and beds, fires to warm the main room, a spiral staircase...

Neighbourhood information

Kinghorn is a small town situated on the east coast in the Kingdom of Fife. The town benefits from a lovely quiet, sheltered beach only a few minutes’ walk from the apartment. At the other end of the town is Pettycur Bay - a long, wide stretch of golden sand which is excellent for walks and outdoor activities. Within the town there are several shops on the high street, which is again just a few minutes away. These include a baker, butcher, a Co-op supermarket, post office and chemist. There are also a number of pubs in Kinghorn. The Ship Inn opposite the Town Hall serves top quality food, and there is also a ‘cupcake café’ on the high street. The Harbour View, has a beautiful café/restaurant upstairs with beautiful views across the forth. Downstairs there is also a wonderful pub, serving various beers, gins and cocktails, they also have an area to sit outside and relax in the sun as you take in the fantastic view. From Pettycur Beach you can walk across to Burntisland when the tide is out. There are plenty of activities to entertain families, whatever the weather, with play parks, a loch and ecology centre, indoor leisure facilities, and Kirkcaldy museum and art gallery all
