Welcome to Khyber Mount Guest House. Due to its special location on Whitbys West Cliff, every room enjoys fantastic views of the Sea, Old Town and Whitby Abbey. The property is spread over 4 floors accessible by stairs only. Please contact Guest House if there are any mobility issues with in your party. We will do our best to accommodate. Every room has complimentary tea and coffee facilities, and Tv with freeview. Please read room info carefully as we do have ensuite and non ensuite rooms (still with own private bathroom). Guests are only a minutes walk from the beach stretching two miles toward Sandsend, from all shops and amenities, many pubs, wine bars and reastaurants and the infamous Whitby Whalebones and Abbey. Also there is the easy access to the glorious North Yorkshire Moors and wonderful coastline from Robin Hoods Bay to Runswick Bay. We have a strict no smoking policy in the property. Parking is along Whitbys West Cliff. Sctratch cards and discs are available from the Guest House at an extra charge..

Ideally situated a couple of minutes walk from shops, pubs and restaurants. Whitbys main Beach is extremely close by, along with the Whale bones on the West Cliff. A walk across town will take you onto the old cobbled Church Street and the 199 steps leading up to the Abbey. The Abbey is also accessible by car. There are some lovely surrounding Villages to visit, each with their own character and attractions. The area is full of history breathtaking scenery, so there is plenty to do during your stay with us
