Situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, Kirkbymoorside is an attractive market town featured on tv shows such as The Yorkshire Vet and The Auction House, located between the towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Full of traditional Yorkshire character, the town is the centre for the local farms and villages and has a range of local shops including a butcher, baker, deli and grocery. There are also numerous tea-rooms, pubs, restaurants and antique shops within the village, and a traditional street market which takes place every Wednesday. Juniper Cottage is in a superb location for touring the countryside, coastline and fascinating towns. The surrounding scenery is spectacular and offers excellent walking and cycling opportunities, including those within the National Park and Dalby Forest.
