Whether you’re travelling with friends or family, Sandpipers will be a tranquil home from home as soon as you step through the door. Sleeping up to four guests, this charming cottage has a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a shower room and a large, enclosed, dog friendly garden with outdoor furniture. Located in Belford in the heart of Northumberland, Sandpipers is a fantastic choice for self-catering staycations in the North East. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Sandpipers is situated in the small, peaceful hamlet of Fenham-le-Moor in Belford. Looking out towards Holy Island. Both Lindisfarne Castle and Bamburgh Castle can be seen from the property, and being so close to the Fenham Flats nature reserve means that a large variety of wading birds can be heard from the garden. Belford has a thriving and friendly market square at its centre, brimming with independent shops, restaurants and inns. It’s an ideal base for those wanting to partake in a spot of fishing and golfing. Sandpipers is just a short 15-minute drive from the gorgeous coastal village of Bamburgh. Here you’ll find miles of stunning sandy shores and Bamburgh Castle, which is one of the finest castles in the country. Standing on the Northumberland coastline for over 1,400 years, there is a wealth of history to uncover.
