The room was lovely and clean, as was the hotel on the whole, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and there were options for myself as a vegetarian, although it was essentially just cereal/granola and toast but I was content with that. The location was perfect for what I needed. Parking was available.

Close proximity to train and bus stations, easy walking distance to the city centre. Lovely restaurant.
One of the most unique hotels in Perth, in a 15th-century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, lobby area and Lounge Bar.

The hotel is very convenient to the rail station… A 10 minute walk. The garden in the back was beautiful… During our visit, most of the flowers were in bloom.

River walk was lovely, but local city centre was just like any other town with loads of charity shops, and not mu h else to look at.
Scone palace gardens were lovely, but could only go in the grounds due to having a dog, so wasn't allowed in the Palace

The multistorey car park at Kinnoull Street is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs.
The city itself is compact and pleasant enough. No hills in the city so easy to get about.
Plenty of cafes by the new museum.

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then.
Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down.
Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.
From the moment we arrived in the car park till the moment we left the building we had a truly fabulous stay - indeed we firmly believe it was the best Guesthouse we have ever experienced. Our apartment was most beautifully appointed and equipped, the bed extremely comfortable, the breakfast cooked and presented by our host David was sublime ( and highly entertaining!) - what personal and presentation skills he possesses.
it was the highlight of a lovely week we had in Scotland.
Although I travelled to Perth with friends I could not get booked into the same hotel as them. The hotel is situated in a perfectly central location for all ameneties. The decor in my room was lovely (albeit the furniture was a little dated but in great condition). The room and all other areas of the hotel were very clean and the breakfast was amazing. I would defintitely go back there to stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was lovely, rooms were spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Complimentary hot drinks were available in the bar area, along with facilities in the room. Breakfast was well set out offering a good choice. It was close to one of perths busiest roads but we could not hear any of the traffic from our room. I would happily stay again.
Everything was fine and we would be happy to stay again. A good place to break up the long journey from the south of England to the far north of Scotland. The room was comfortable, the restaurant met expectations. Nothing was exceptional - but no complaints either! Our retriever was happy and there were plenty of places to exercise her in and around the grounds.
David is a lifelong upscale hotelier and it shows. Every detail has been considered from the luxurious towels to the chargers in the room. He even helped us with a laundry emergency. Breakfast was superb. Sadly, we were not there long enough, but would give the Townhouse our highest recommendation.
Nice place, friendly people! Had some delay due to airport issues, communication was great so
no problem - we could check in in the middle of the night :) Great place to start and end a trip in the Higlands. Will come back for sure if heading to Northern Scotland via Perth.
The hotel is lovely and clean and located close to all of the local amenities.
The staff are very polite and welcoming.
Beds are comfortable
Great breakfast with a wide variety of choices to cater for everyone's tastes.
I would definitely stay at the hotel in the future.
Location was great, right in the heart of Perth; host communications were impeccable, and the flat was gorgeous, spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean and very comfortable. The little extras in the fridge were a welcome bonus. Thanks for a great stay.
Beautiful Location fantastic staff especially the restaurant and bar staff their friendliness and local knowledge made the stay The suite exceeded expectations the food was incredible we could not recommend this hotel highly enough we will definitely return
It is a lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable the host was very kind I left something behind and he is posting it back to us which is not something I expected. It was perfect and a great location for the shops and other attractions of Scotland.
Very friendly owner. Couldn't do enough to make us comfortable and even let us watch England play in the quarter finals (in Scotland!) Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Good to have parking. Would definitely recommend
It felt like a home from home. Jean and Andie were wonderful hosts. We were well looked after :0). The farm is situated very close to Perth with beautiful views across the River Ray and out towards the Lomond hills.
The staff & the food was great we have absolutely no negatives about this hotel it was central to perth & is easy to get to without having to go through the town would go again in a heartbeat
Having stayed in the one at Ocean terminal Edinburgh last week I knew the one is Perth is good as I’ve stayed before. Very good hotel and well situated, friendly staff and very comfortable.
Guest house appears to be run as an adjunct to the Grampian Hotel next door. The property met our expectation as a budget overnight rest place in Perth
