Me and my family having been enjoying holidays in this house for the past 15 years. Nestled in the small coastal village of Kingswear, Hazelbank is a beautiful 3-bedroom holiday home offering stunning views over the River Dart and across to Dartmouth. The house is a comfortable space to relax and enjoy whilst exploring the local area.
Hello, my name is Jayne and I am based in Worcestershire. I have a holiday home in South Devon in which me and my family have enjoyed many holidays for the last 15 years. We like guests to feel they have the place to themselves however we are happy to be contacted for any advice before and during your stay. There is a housekeeper available to deal with any issues swiftly.
Kingswear is a quiet, beautiful village with stunning views of Dartmouth, the River Dart and the famous Naval college. There is a small village shop stocked with all the essentials. Dartmouth has lots of fantastic places to eat and drink, and if you would like something closer to home check out the Stream Packet Inn or the Ship Inn which are 5-minute walk from the house. Just up the road from the property is a lovely little wine bar which has become a favourite spot of ours, Alessandro who owns the bar has excellent taste! Beaches: The area is surrounded by several beautiful beaches, one of the most popular family beaches is the award-winning Blackpool Sands which a café and lifeguards on duty (between July- September). Other beaches to explore are: Slapton Sands, Scabbacombe Sands and Man Sands. Walking and exploring the area: You can join the South-West Coastal Path from the house and enjoy stunning views of the sea and River Dart or continue to Coleton Fishacre, a National Trust Property. Alternatively jump of the ferry and walk to Dartmouth Castle and reward yourself with a cream tea!
