Relax with the whole family in our character, stone-built farmhouse providing cosy, comfortable accommodation in rural surroundings. The farmhouse is situated in a private position set back from the converted farm buildings that surround the central courtyard. The private garden is enclosed and has views across the fields at the back. There is a patio seating area where guests can enjoy the surroundings and outdoor dining. The front door leads into the L shaped lounge/dining area. The main seating area is adjacent to the wood burner and provides a cosy area in the evenings. TV, books, games, DVDs and the pool table are available for guest use. The dining area is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen, with a small utility room with washing machine and a walk-in shower room/WC beyond. The stairs from the living area lead up to three bedrooms - two cosy doubles and a single. The double bedrooms have exposed stonework on the chimney breasts. The first floor bathroom has a roll top bath and WC and an exposed stonework wall. The property has central heating. The farmhouse is accessed down a 1.2 km private lane off the main road. There is parking for three vehicles at the property.

If you like the outdoor life as I do, you'll love the North Cornish coast, with its dramatic coastal and inland walks and great beaches to explore. We love the location of our rural farmhouse surrounded by fields and converted farm buildings, a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The coastal villages of Boscastle, Tintagel, and Port Isaac are close by, as well as award winning beaches at Bude, Widemouth Bay, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Bodmin Moor is easily accessible and walkers can enjoy the many circular walks around the moors and take in the fantastic views from the top of Rough Tor. Trethorne Golf course is 9 miles away, and open to non-members. For those that enjoy cycling or just want a nice walk along the estuary, the 18 mile Camel Trail runs from Bodmin to Padstow and is mostly off road along a disused railway line. The route is flat and bike hire is available at Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow. The National Trust Lanhydrock House estate has off road trails through the woods for all levels of cyclist. A day trip to St Ives is well worth a visit, with its lovely beach, restaurants and shopping. For those that are interested in the arts, Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth museum are walking distance from each other. There is a good choice of pubs and restaurants near to the farmhouse and the beaches.
