Glen B&B is located in Hamnavoe, Burra, Shetland and overlooks a natural harbour and the Atlantic Ocean. At the bed and breakfast, the king rooms are equipped with en-suite shower room, and the twin room has its own private bathroom. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided in all rooms. Glen B&B was refurbished in 2017 and is bright, welcoming and pleasant. Guest rooms are very comfortable and have free WiFi and smart TV's, as we'll as ensuite facilities and tea/coffee tray. A fridge and microwave is provide for guests use. The delicious breakfast of your choice is served at the time if your choosing. Historically the house was 2 fishermans Cottages and is was built in the late 1800's
Elizabeth and Anthony are welcoming hosts, they endeavour to make your stay pleasant, comfortable and relaxed. Anthony has lived in this house all his life and can give interesting local knowledge. You will enjoy your stay with these lovely hosts.
Hamnavoe is a lovely village built around a picturesque natural harbour, the village was built for the fishing. There is a nice General store 2 minutes walk away, the nearest restaurants are in Scalloway 4 miles away. Stunning coastal walks are popular including to the Lighthouse seen in our photos, as well as to the 2 lovely sandy beaches nearby and also to seek for the smugglers cave! LERWICK (the main town) is only 10 miles.
