The house provides complimentary continental breakfast for guests and the kitchen has a variety of teas and coffees at your disposal. The property has a south facing garden and guests can enjoy a splash of sunshine each morning in the kitchen and living room. The host provides leaflets of all places and things to explore in Gloucestershire and the Cotswold. The lounge has decks of cards so you can enjoy some games in the evening. If you leave the gate open, the sheep will feel welcome to enter and graze the front garden!

We love creating a homely feel which is clean, comfortable and welcoming. We moved to Gloucestershire 8 years ago from Hertfordshire and absolutely fell in love with the countryside. We hope all our guests will have a memorable and wonderful time. There is just too much to explore here!

Matson is situated on the edge of Gloucester to the boarder with Painswick and Stroud. It is a sleepy village with colorful houses and apartments painted in pastel colours. Sheep are a symbol of Matson and sheep roam about the streets and this makes the village special. Bus 1 is available just outside the property and this is a regular service (every 10 minutes) so you can catch the bus if you don't wish to park in Gloucester town. Kingsholm Stadium and Gloucester cathedral are under 3 miles from the property. Robinswood Wood is less than 5 minutes drive. Gloucester Golf Club is a walking distance from the property, so is Battle Hill Laser Tag and Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre. Cheltenham is 20 minutes away, and Stroud is 15 minutes away. Forest of Dean, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Tewkesbury Abbey are some great attractions.
