We live in the main house with our two children and two cats. We're on hand if you need us but prefer to give you your privacy and space. Emma is a fine artist and ceramicist with an art studio in the grounds. Graeme is a small business owner but his real passion is surfing. For local surf knowledge he is your man.

Deer view is located on the outskirts of a lovely village called Bishops Tawton. The property is located on the hillside nestled into the surrounding countryside with sweeping views over the valley of Barnstaple. We feel very secluded and hidden away yet we are still walking distance to Barnstaple and the village centre, where a fantastic pub can be found. We are incredibly lucky to have some resident deer in the field next to us. The deer family frequent our grounds regulary looking for fresh green shoots and apples from the trees. Nearby we have all amenities you could possibly need, we do recommend a car though as it is hilly here. Within 30 min drive are the amazing beaches of Croyde & Wollacombe which we frequent as a family as much as possible. Our real treasure though is our access to walking and cycling trails directly from the house.
