    The location of this property is a perfect base to explore Skye, with local shops close by. The property is nicely sized with a great outdoor seating area with some amazing views. Both Jo and Peter were really helpful and responsive.

Welcome to our corner of Skye! Nestled on our croft we have a cosy and well-equipped caravan which comfortably sleeps 4. Relax on the generous deck to take in the sunrise and the breathtaking views of the Cuillins and watch the sunset over Macleod's Tables which command from behind. There are plenty of interesting & varied walks nearby, it's ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and is within easy reach of the beach and shores, local amenities and famous landmarks. Included is bedding, towels, toiletries, gas and electricity. With central heating, double glazing, WIFI, smart TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, gas cooker and fully equipped kitchen. With the spacious open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge you will have all you need for an enjoyable self-catering holiday! We will be nearby if you need any help or information during your stay. Guests have sole occupancy of the whole caravan, decking area and seating all within the fenced garden area around it. Also private parking and a short path leading to the accommodation.
Peter or Jo can be here to greet you on arrival but we do have a key-safe at the caravan if you would prefer to let yourselves in. Please let them know before-hand of your time of arrival so that they can work out what suits best. Jo is a medical secretary at the local GP surgery and Peter is a professional musician. They enjoy the experience of meeting new folk from all over the world and are happy to share any local knowledge we have gained whilst growing up and living on Skye.
Roag is a peaceful village 3.5 miles south of Dunvegan. Roag has stunning views of the Cuillin mountains to the east, the small isles to the south, the MacLeod Tables to the west and Dunvegan to the north. It sits above the sea loch Pool Roag, known for its bird life. Highland cattle and sheep are raised on the local crofts. A short one mile walk or drive takes you to the hamlet of Orbost, From there you can take a short walk down to the stunning Varkasaig volcanic beach. Roag is an ideal situation to visit the famous North West Skye landmarks such as Dunvegan Castle, the Coral Beaches, Neist Point and Dun Beag, the iron age broch (hillfort). North West Skye is blessed with some very fine restaurants, including The Edinbane Inn, The Three Chimneys, The Dunvegan, The Old School Restaurant, Lochbay Seafood Restaurant. The Old Inn in Carbost and the Edinbane Inn both serve excellent food and are Skye's best pubs for traditional music.
