Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our newly refurbished annex is available for summer 2023 season. We invite you to try out somewhere new in the northern lakes where peace and quiet and a new spectacular view hits you around every bend. Featuring a large open plan living room, fully featured kitchen and two beautiful bedrooms with king and double beds together with a shared wet room. And access to our private gardens. Midway between mountains and beaches.
We’re about if you need anything so just shout or ring the side door bell. Otherwise we’ll leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rural northern lakes. We're very happy to give guidance on local places to visit, eat and drink so drop us a line when booking.
We live in a rural area and there is a working dairy farm next door so you may see and hear tractors and cows. High Laws is a small hamlet of approximately 10 houses further up the hill from us. We’re around 15 minutes to the nearest beaches on the Solway Coast an area of outstanding natural beauty and 20 minutes to the outlying mountains of northern Lakeland. Carlisle 25 minutes, Silloth 10 minutes, Wigton 10 minutes, Cockermouth 30 minutes. The estate has allocated parking for guests. You will need a car to get around as public transport does not pass us by. Wifi is available but note that this is mobile internet and the signal is sometimes a little slower than a hard-wired fibre system.
