The cottage is attached to a stone built country house, the cottage dates from the 14th century. Located in peaceful countryside, close to Bodmin Moor, Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay and just 5 miles from the old market town of Wadebridge with its range of shops, pubs, restaurants & amenities. In a perfect central location to explore Cornwall, especially the north and south coasts. There is no outside area apart from a small pathway but we are however surrounded by some beautiful local walks some just 30 seconds from the cottage. We accept 2 dogs and do not charge extra but please do let us know upon booking so we can prepare the cottage for their arrival. We accept babes in arms but the cottage doesn't have the necessary safety equipment to keep small people on the move safe. We have hosted families who have had a lovely first break away with their baby. We provide a changing mat, high chair and baby bath but you will need to bring your own cot and bedding. The cottage is bright and airy with lovely countryside views and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Perfect for a couples retreat, keen walkers or those just looking to get some peace and quiet. The cottage has one bedroom (double bed) as well as a sofa bed in the living room to accommodate an extra guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need along with a large fridge freezer to stock up on delicious Cornish goodies. A huge spacious bathroom is located upstairs with hand and shower towels provided as well as an extra toilet downstairs. There is excellent WiFi in the property. A key box has been installed at the entrance of the property and on arrival you will be able to let yourselves in with a passcode you’ll be sent the evening before your arrival. We live next door in Trewithian Farm House and will aim to leave you to enjoy your holiday but should you need anything we are on always on hand to help.

I like nothing better than putting my wellies on and getting the family together to head out and explore Cornwall. I love travelling, meeting new people and sitting around our firepit with a glass of wine and listening to music. Give me cosy old pubs, local fresh food, great company and adventure and I'm there! My husband Tom and I both lead very busy lives and don't often get to go away so we have tried to make Trewithian Farm Cottage a perfect relaxing place for our guests with all the amenities we would want in a trip. My husband Tom and I have both grown up in Cornwall and are here to offer any suggestions of where to visit so you can get the most out of your trip. Trewithian Farm Cottage is in a rural location with beautiful Cornish country lanes to explore. There are some great walks nearby with a variety of public footpaths within easy reach and we are very fortunate to be near the start of the 'Saints Way'. For the keen runner there are a selection of great circular routes to take through woods, over bridges and a few very challenging hills to conquer (I’m a keen runner myself so can point you in the right direction and suggest some great routes depending on mileage). Inside the cottage you will find an information pack with all the local footpaths and running routes printed out. Cycling is also very popular around this area due to the quiet roads and beautiful scenery, we are able to store your bike away safely if you are bringing it with you. Wadebridge is only a fifteen minute drive away, Padstow and Bodmin are 20 minutes and Newquay is 25 minutes. Also nearby is Tintagel (famous for the legend of King Arthur), Boscastle, a picturesque village and fishing port and Port Isaac where the popular TV series Dr Martin was filmed. The Eden Project is a 25 minute drive away.
