This pretty stone built Cottage was built in the 1950's as an additional garage to the main house, in a tumbled down state when I moved in it has been newly renovated in 2021 to a high standard offering quality accommodation at a reasonable price for small groups, families and couples. Comprising of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan living,dining, kitchen area with balcony and outside patio with magnificent views over the stream to open countryside sleeps 4-6 maximum
I have been in hospitality for many years, originally working for Airtours & then Jet2 as Cabin Crew,. Later went onto manage my own holiday apartments in Ski resorts in France & Austria while running my own Bed & Breakfast in West Yorkshire. I moved over to this pretty area of Lancashire during lock-down and spent a year renovating this old stone garage in my garden creating high quality accommodation in an idillic setting overlooking a running stream & open countryside. The cottage is well maintained and I enjoy making the exterior & interior pretty at all times of the year with flowers or seasonal decorations. Located in the grounds of my home where I live makes it easy to keep on top of repairs and maintenance offering good quality accommodation to guests at a reasonable price.
Located in a idyllic country setting overlooking stream, open fields close to the Preston - Lancaaster Canal where you can hire boats & kayaks locally. A short distance from local welcoming pubs and Restaurants. We are located 10 mins from the pretty market town of Garstang where you will find a lovely selection of shops & supermarkets. There is also an interesting market every Thursday in Garstang and nearby Fleetwood has one of the best markets in the Country. Enjoy lovely walks along the canal, hiking or cycling in the hills and valley's of Bleasdale and the Forest of Bowland. Great location to explore the coastal towns of , BlackpooL Lytham St Annes, Morecambe and Carnforth. The nearest bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away which connects you to the towns of Preston, Lancaster & Blackpool so you arrive by train and bus. We are happy to collect you from the Bus stop if we are available. The nearest Electrical car charging point is Booths Supermarket just 10 mins away and they are rarely busy. This is an ideal place for couples and families if you need a peaceful weekend away from the hussle and bustle of a stressful life to just unwind and enjoy the peace & quiet.
