Corner Cottage is a stunning seaside-themed cottage that is perfectly located at the heart of Filey Bay. Our fun and well-equipped cottage is beautifully decorated and well-suited for families of all ages. It has two cots/highchairs and safety gates on the stairs for the very-little ones. We have a lovely private garden with a wooden dining table, behind which is a communal courtyard (that also has a table tennis table).
Born in Yorkshire, Dale has loved visiting the east coast (especially Filey) his entire life. Dale especially enjoys visiting with his young family (six and two years) and building sandcastles on the beach.
Corner Cottage is perfectly located within Filey Bay, adjacent to the central village, with a family restaurant, shop, tennis court, gym and swimming pool (with Sauna and Steam room). There is a shared table tennis table at the rear of the property, the childrens playground is approximately 2-3 minutes walk and the arcade is also a 2-3 minutes walk. During select months there are also a number of seasonal activities that can be booked up to 21 days in advance (online or via the resort app). These include Crafts, Archery, Waterwalkers, Pottery Painting, Axe Throwing etc. The award winning Filey Bay beach is a few minutes walk - and there are beautiful coastal walks in both directions (leading all the way to Scarborough, or the Bempton cliffs). Some of the other nearby attractions include: * Filey Golf Course, where non-members are welcome (10min drive) * Filey Bird and Animal Park (10min drive) * Scarborough Fair Collection & Transport Museum (10min drive) * The highly rated Playdale Farm Park (15min drive) * Bridlington, with it's small funfair (15min drive) * Scarborough (20min drive) * North Yorkshire Water and Adventure Park (30 min drive) * Edan Camp Museum (40 min drive) * Whitby (45min drive) * Flamingo Land (50 min drive) * Castle Howard (50min drive)
