Conval House Bed and Breakfast is an elegant, Victorian, 3 storey property. It was once a vicarage, dating back over 140 years, and has many original period features. All rooms are decorated to a high standard, with central heating, making them warm and cosy spaces on a cool night. The bed linen we use is a high quality cotton, we also provide soft white towels for our guests use. We have free on site parking and free BT Infinity WiFi throughout the property. The 2 king rooms have en-suite shower rooms with spa slippers provided. The property is conveniently located close to the centre of Dufftown and all the local amenities, Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes, Shops etc. while being in a lovely peaceful location. Please note that our cat Charlie lives with us, in our home, but he never goes into any guest bedrooms/areas.

I moved to Dufftown in 2013, after falling in love with the area on previous holidays to Scotland. I had wanted to run a bed and breakfast for a while so when we bought our home I knew I’d found the perfect property in the perfect location. I hope all our guests feel the same way I do. We offer a warm welcome to all.

We are located close to the centre of Dufftown, the Clock Tower, and all the local amenities while being in a peaceful location. The world renown Glenfiddich Distillery is but a short walk (10-15 mins) or a short drive (5 mins) while the Balvenie Distillery is located a further 5 minutes walk from the Glenfiddich Distillery, There are numerous other Whisky Distilleries within the area such as Glenlivet, Glen Grant, Stathisla, Knockando and Macallan to name but a few. The property looks out towards Ben Aigen, a local landmark. Spey Bay is close by and is a popular destination for Dolphin spotting. We are on the Castle Trail with Balvenie Castle, Auchindoon Castle and Ballindalloch Castle all but a short drive away, We are also on the Whiskey Trail, see above for some of the popular distilleries in the area.
