Blue Drift is a modern three-storey coastal holiday home with five bedrooms accommodating up to nine guests. Built in 2019, the property is situated in the village of Knowle, just 1.2 miles from the desirable seaside town of Budleigh Salterton, 4 miles from Exmouth and 6 miles from Sidmouth. Roomy, bright and stylish with open plan living, free parking for two cars and a private garden with a hot tub. The house provides excellent accommodation for families or a group of friends looking to explore the Jurassic coastline. Park right up outside the house and enter via the front door which leads you into the downstairs hallway area. The open plan kitchen/ living/ dining area is a beautiful sunny space with doors opening out into the garden. There’s a large 5-seater corner sofa, 3-seater sofa, a smart TV with Freeview, dining table with seating for nine and a breakfast bar with two bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, two electric ovens, induction hob, wine fridge, kettle, toaster and cupboard space for storing your food. There’s also a handy utility area next to the kitchen with a microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and an additional sink. The ground floor is completed with a downstairs toilet and a fully enclosed garden with a patio area, 4-seater hot tub, an outdoor sofa and a hanging egg chair. The stairs then lead to the first floor where you will find four of the bedrooms (one of which is ensuite) and the family bathroom which has a shower over the bath, LED bluetooth mirror, double vanity unit and two heated towel rails. Head upstairs to the second floor to discover the master bedroom with a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room. The privately fenced garden is a sheltered space with a small lawn and a patio area. The patio doors open out into the garden from the kitchen/ dining area. Budleigh Salterton beach is just a 5 minute drive away or a 25 minute walk.

Please be aware that the house is situated alongside the busy B3178 road which leads from Budleigh Salterton to Sidmouth so there is some traffic noise. All the rooms have modern double glazed windows. The house is situated within an unfinished housing development although the house itself is in perfect condition. The adjacent properties in phase 1 are finished but phase 2 across the road is still a building site. There is CCTV at the front of the property for security purposes. Guests won't have access to the garage. Guests are kindly requested to avoid making any noise in the garden between 9 pm and 8 am as the area is residential with young families living nearby. For this reason, we also ask that the hot tub be used only between 8 am and 9 pm. As such, the house is not suitable for parties or noisy gatherings. Parking is limited to two spaces on the driveway due to the constraints within the development. If guests have a third vehicle, it can be parked for free on Bedlands Lane, a local road just a 5-minute walk away along an unlit grassy path. Please note that parking across the pavement or in any other areas of the estate is not permitted. There is no phone signal or very little signal at the house (depending upon which mobile network you use). However once you are connected to the WiFi, you will be able to Wi-Fi calll/ text etc. Please be aware the next door neighbours have dogs and there has been some issues with them barking & also a smell of dog dirt which may waft into Blue Drifts garden. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done to improve this situation and I ask guests to manage their expectations when booking to stay at Blue Drift.
