We have always wanted a holiday home in the Lake District to enjoy ourselves but also let other guests enjoy the Cottage and local area too. We all have busy lives,wether it be working, looking after our homes, looking after grandchildren or children, so we know that a break away to relax is what we all need occasionally. We have lovingly refurbished the Coach House Bungalow to a high standard so that we, our family and our guests will relax and enjoy the local area and and be able to experience quality time together. I have worked in the past for several years as a travel agent, which I enjoyed very much and loved hearing how my clients enjoyed their holidays and helped them when problems occured! I pride myself on making your holiday experience the best it can be, so that you will always remember the great times you had. Now we own and personally manage the Coach House Bungalow, it keeps us busy but we both thoroughly enjoy it, and when guests give us their feedback we love to hear that we must be doing something right! The Coach House Bungalow is in a quiet residential street in Grange-over-sands, with friendly neighbours and local residents. Just a three minute walk to the local Railway station and also the local shops, park and promenade, which is a lovely relaxing walk with amazing views! The South Lake District is a fantastic location to visit with lots of places to visit such as Lake Windermere just 7 miles away and the pretty village of Cartmel is the next village from Grange-over-sands famous for Sticky Toffee pudding and Cartmel Races. Locally buses run to all the major towns in the Lake District which can be picked up outside the Railway station. There are some great walks too in the local area and plenty of things to do. An ideal holiday destination.
