A charming country get away, nestled in the heart of the South Downs. The first thing you are likely to see, is the 100 year old Wisteria, which blooms twice a year - through spring and again at the end of the summer. You will step into this welcoming cottage, to be greeted by a cosy sofa suite and wood burning fire. The kitchen is large for the size of the property, with plenty of natural light, fully equipped for your stay - perhaps a Sunday roast is on the cards? While you drink your morning coffee, you’ll look over the cottage garden - full with an array of seasonal blooms. Upstairs there is the master bedroom, fitted with plenty of storage space and dressing table. As well as a bath to relax in, after a country walk and pub lunch. The village has two fabulous pubs, two quaint cafes and beautiful scenery.
Born and bread in the Hampshire area, I’ve been welcoming guests to enjoy all that the area has to offer for over 3 years. With a back ground in hospitality and customer care, I can ensure you have a peaceful and comfortable stay.
Although we are based in a postcard village, we have superb travel links to London via the A3 or a direct train line (about 50 minutes) from Alton to Waterloo. You could venture out, and take a day trip to the coast, for some sea air and sand. Alton is the nearest town, 10 minutes down the main road, which has your supermarket of choice, a selection of cafes and restaurants.
