10 minutes walk to the beach, Promenade, pier and shops, in a perfect location for a visit to Worthing. Only a 3 min walk to the hospital. Waitrose and Lidl are just across the road and there are dozens of pubs and restaurants plus the UKs oldest cinema, The Dome, all within half a mile. There is a lovely little courtyard at the back with a BBQ and a tiny space at the front to sit. Free on street parking is available but not guaranteed.
I work for an airline as a cabin crew member and love to travel. I enjoy flying to far off destinations, Cuba being one of my favourites. I also enjoy exploring the UK with my family. We load up the camper as often as possible and hit the road with our Border Collie, Tilly. I am looking forward to loaning my house to others who are visiting wonderful Worthing. We wil be available on arrival and if needed we can be contacted 24/7 during your stay.
The house is on a narrow but busy road, running past the hospital. there is a local real ale pub just down the road and another pub with a great vibe and fabulous food on the corner in the other direction. Within a few minutes walk in either way there are 2 super parks, one with a children's play area, table tennis tables, tennis courts and a skate park and the other one with Bowles, a nature area, wild planting and a great cafe. Just past this is another green area and the beach. In winter Worthing has a beautiful covered ice rink. There are plenty of places to run, walk or cycle. The promenade runs for many miles in both directions and is a shared use space for pedestrians, dogs and cyclists. The Dome cinema is one of the oldest picture houses in the country and a stunning place to watch a film while you relax with your popcorn and glass of wine or cup of tea. Wind surfing is very popular along this stretch of coast with dedicated areas and wind surf/kite surf schools in both Lancing and Worthing. We are also just a short drive from the stunning South Downs National Park, the UKs newest national park and an International Dark Skies Reserve.
