Castle Lane House overlooks the historical Eisenhower Playing Fields and is a short stroll from the landmark Portora Castle which looks out to River Erne. Within walking distance is the Round O Park where younger guests can enjoy the play park facilities and feed the ducks and adults the opportunity to avail of Jetty facilities or relish watching the boats pass by along the Lough Erne waterway system or indeed experience a tour of the islands. A short walk further will take you into Enniskillen town where you can visit Enniskillen Castle Museum, then wander round the waters edge or sample some retail therapy and the many eateries in this county town of Enniskillen town recently voted one of the best places to live in the UK and best kept town in Ireland. There is much to offer in this island town and the surrounding County whether it be water sports, sighting seeing walking trails or by boat along Lough Erne and visiting nearby National Trust properties such as Castle Coole, Florencecourt or the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark, Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail.
