Lovely secluded apartment with cosy private secure courtyard garden on the outskirts of the small Welsh town of Llanfair Caereinion. Renovated to a high standard and part of an old farmhouse with a lounge/kitchen, double bedroom and single bedroom leading to shower room. Sofa bed for extra guest on request. There is secure off road parking for cars & motorcycles. The market town of Welshpool is around 8 miles away and beautiful Lake Vyrnwy around a half hour drive. EV charging (13A) available.
Generally we will be in the main property if any assistance is needed, or always at the end of the phone.
The market town of Welshpool is around 8 miles away and beautiful Lake Vyrnwy around a half hour drive. Llanfair Caereinion (down a steep hill 3/4 of a mile away) has a choice of 3 pubs which serve good pub food and real ale and a good chippy, a Spa shop and a good butchers (closed on Mondays). It is also home to the Welshpool and Llanfair steam railway and the Cloverlands model car museum which houses the biggest collection of model cars in Wales. Free Wifi in Llanfair Caereinion centre, look for WiFiTrefAmDd, no password needed. For local dog walking turn left out of the main gates, walk up the road a few hundred yards and the road changes to a track that leads up over the hills. Gated off road parking for up to 2 cars with camera surveillance, more parking available on the main property if needed. Plenty of local walking across the hills.
