Ben View, in the hamlet of Inveralligin is a spacious detached home occupying a stunning loch side location. A large walled garden backs onto the shores of Upper Loch Torridon with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from throughout the house and garden. The house has 5 bedrooms (1 king, 2 doubles, 2 twin), a large living room, sun room, a spacious dining kitchen and a separate dining room to easily seat 10. It is an ideal base for nature lovers, mountaineers, families or groups of friends. 2 bedrooms and family bathroom are located on the ground floor, providing easier access for those with restricted mobility. Children will be entertained for hours with the large grassy garden, paddling in the stream, and shell hunting on the beach. There is a small DVD collection, large library and family board games for rainy days. Toys to keep young children entertained, off street parking for 4 cars. Storage is available for outdoor equipment such as bikes and kayaks. Large outdoor table and Croquet set for fun games on the lawn. After a long day exploring relax in the comfortable living room with roaring log fire or have a glass of wine enjoying the stunning views.
Herons, Otters, and Pine Martens are all regularly spotted from the property and there is an abundance of hiking, mountain biking, fishing and climbing within walking distance of the house. Kayaks can be launched from the other side of the garden wall and boats can be launched nearby for diving and fishing in the loch. Within easy drive is Torridon village, the Beinn Eighe nature reserve, Applecross Peninsula, Gairloch, Shieldaig, Inverewe gardens and Ullapool, Loch Ewe, Isle of Skye.
