Appleyard Cottage is a traditional stone built terraced cottage located in the heart of Hellifield village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It has a wood burner which is perfect for autumn and winter evenings. This is a two bedroom property (one double and one twin) suitable for small families, couples or two friends. There is a lounge, kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Linen and towels are provided, There is off road forecourt parking at the front for one car, key safe check-in and a rear enclosed garden. Perfect location for walking - you can walk into the Yorkshire Dales in just 10 mins from the cottage. We are also a short drive from well known tourist locations such as Malham, Grassington and Skipton. We are also 11 miles away from the start of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks - many walkers stay at our cottage. Appleyard Cottage is located in a very friendly village with a pub, village store, fish and chip shop, pizza takeaway and other independent shops. There is also a train station with regular links to Leeds and Skipton. We ask for a security deposit (payment will be taken via a secure payment link). This will be returned to you on the day of check out via bank transfer once our cleaners have been.

Busy working as a teacher, running our cottage and allotment, and trying to fit in running, cycling, paddle boarding and yoga in-between. We are not on site to meet you, but are contactable any time by message should you need us for anything. Our neighbours help us manage the cottage so can assist with issues if needed.

Famous nearby towns and landmarks include; the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Ribblehead Viaduct, Malham Cove, Grassington, Skipton and Settle. We are a short drive away from the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Hellifield train station is located in the village and is on the Settle to Carlisle train line. We are also a 50 minute drive from the Lake District.
