Welcome to Bastwick House, situated on the main Cromer & North Walsham to Yarmouth road, well placed in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. We are a short drive to many beauty spots, such as Hickling Broad, Winterton and Horsey (famous for seal watching). Miles of unspoilt North Norfolk sandy beaches and other wildlife areas are close by. The surrounding Broads are ideal for bird-watching or fishing. A country circular walk takes you to the village staithe through to the popular Potter Heigham waterway. Thurne and Ludham make ideal cycle routes and Norwich is within easy reach by road. The village shop sells provisions, next door to an Indian takeaway. We can recommend local eateries which have been tried and tested!
