Hill Cottage is a wonderful place where you can relax, recharge and connect with family and friends. The spacious kitchen diner is perfect for cooking up a feast on the aga. Sit by the fireside in the cosy lounge or enjoy soaking up the rays in the walled garden. 3 comfortable double bedrooms, 2 with ensuite, and a single bedroom make for a great nights sleep. There’s even a village shop, pub and hotel serving food on the doorstop. All this and just a short walk from the beautiful Embleton Bay.
Embleton is home to arguably the best bay in the region with an inspiring view of Dunstanburgh Castle. It’s the perfect base for exploring Northumberland, which is a wonderful mix of coast, country and castles. Indulge in local food, traditional pubs and plenty of history. Walk along the coast to Low Newton (1hr) and visit the renowned Ship Inn or further afield to Craster and enjoy their famous kippers and the beautiful beaches at Beadnell and Bamburgh are just a short drive away. In Embleton itself you’ll find a shop, pub and hotel, both serving food, as well as a play park and golf course.
