28 The Pines is a cosy and welcoming lodge located in the coastal village of Runswick. Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, the property is perfect for family staycations and getaways with friends. One of the most beautiful spots on the Yorkshire coast, you’ll be able to enjoy everything the village has to offer as well as explore the rest of North Yorkshire easily. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver.

Runswick Bay is a beautiful spot on the North Yorkshire coast. Boasting a sweeping bay with a gorgeous sandy beach, The Times and Sunday Times Travel have recognised Runswick Bay within Britain's top 50 beaches. From sunbathing to rock pooling, fossil hunting to long walks along the lapping waves, the whole family will enjoy a day at the beach. With narrow lanes and red roofed cottages, it’s easy to fall for Runswick Bay’s charm. The village has a local pub and cosy cafe which sells delicious cakes and pastries. By staying in Runswick Bay, you’ll be ideally placed to explore the rest of the coast which includes Whitby, Staithes, Sandsend and Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
