Hello. This updated cottage in Afan Valley is perfect for cyclists, walkers and families alike. It has a well equipped kitchen, Bluetooth Speakers, games, Wii games and DVD's. We have an alarmed secure Asguard bike shed with power and lighting, perfect for mountain bikers, including a good supply of tools, jet wash and bike stand. Only a few yards from the nearest bike trails at Rhyslyn. In the garden there is a fire pit with charcoal provided. As well as being on the doorstep of Afan Forest Park the cottage is within easy reach of the coast, Brecon Beacons and waterfall walks. Dogs are welcome but we ask that any damage would be compensated for. We do our best to be flexible with check in/out times so please get in touch if we can help. Please note. This is not a Party House! We have neighbours and ask guests to be respectful of our property and those around them. Also. We are unable to recycle nappies and ask that they be taken away. Please note. The bathroom is downstairs. The rear garden is accessed via metal steps from the backdoor (see photo).
We welcome you to our cottage. It's our pride and joy and we love hosting our guests. We live not far away and are always on hand if you need us. We also run a B&B from our home and it's been amazing to meet so many people. Our children are recently grown and we are enjoying getting more time in the beautiful countryside around. Cycling, hiking and running.
There are 2 pubs in the village, the Colliers being open for food. There is also a shop and takeaway a few doors up the hill. Neath has a 6 day market, supermarkets, cinema, theatre and good shops. You are not far from Swansea and the Gower for beach days and the Brecon Beacons for hiking. We have provided lots of tips and ideas in our welcome file. Although a car is useful there is a no 59 bus which takes you into Neath. From here there is a central bus station and main line train station.
