Enjoy the sun on the beautiful beach or book a lesson with one of our partners and discover windsurfing, kite surfing or blow-karting. Want to discover the beach in a different way? Make a horse trip with the neighbouring horse-riding school. The environment of La Franqui is amazing, the city-centre of Leucate is filled with colourful houses, has a nice ambiance totally untouched by mass-tourism, and is located directly next to the Mediterranean Sea. Moreover, the beach of La Franqui is known world-wide for its great circumstances for wind sports. Because of this the “Mondial du Vent” is organized yearly in April at this beach and the world’s best wind sportsmen get together to compete.
